Hi Rick, If you are planning to listen to these speakers from a specific location such as a patio table and chairs, think of the speakers connected to your listening area as a triangle. The distance from your listening area to the speakers should be equal to the distance separating the speakers. If you are going to be sitting 10 feet from each speaker, then they should be 10 feet apart. You should also angle speakers to your listening area if possible. If you cannot angle them, then move the speakers closer together. TL/MA

Would be nice to select one or the other or both at same time and maybe control volume seperately on one set. Music would come from ipad/ipod divice. Thanks
