Ingredient Notes

Raspberry Mojito Mocktail (2)
  • Raspberries: If you use frozen raspberries, thaw them before using. If you use fresh berries to make this raspberry mocktail recipe, use at least 3 cups of fresh raspberries.
  • Fresh Mint Leaves: You want to use fresh mint leaves so you can extract that fresh mint flavor into the raspberry mocktail mixture.
  • Fresh Lime: Use a fresh, juicy lime! The flavor is so much better.
  • Sprite or 7-Up: You can use any lemon-lime flavored soda.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Muddle the raspberries and mint leaves. Add 2 cups thawed frozen raspberries (or fresh raspberries) and 8-10 mint leaves to a large pitcher. Use a muddle to smash the raspberries until they have released their juices and the mint leaves are wilted.
  2. Add the lime juice and soda. Add the juice of 1 lime and 4 cups Sprite or 7-Up. Stir to combine. Add ice if desired.
  3. Serve! Pour the virgin raspberry mojito mocktail into glasses and serve with a sprig of mint and lime wedges. Enjoy!

Recipe Tips

If using thawed (previously frozen) raspberries, the raspberries will most likely be juicy and not as plump. Muddling won’t be a necessary for the raspberries, but you will want to muddle mint leaves into the mixture.

Don’t make it a raspberry puree while muddling — you want some raspberry chunks.

I would wait to add the soda until just before serving, so the carbonation is fresh!

Make Ahead, Storing, and Freezing

You can make the muddled raspberries and mint mixture ahead of time and store than in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 day. Then add the lime juice and Sprite just before serving.

Store in the fridge in the pitcher — just know that the soda will gradually lose its carbonation so it won’t store long. I would drink it within 1 day of making it.

You can freeze the raspberry mint mixture and thaw that, add the lime and Sprite for a slushy raspberry mocktail recipe!

Recipe FAQs

What is a mocktail?

A mocktail is a nonalcoholic co*cktail. This non-alcoholic raspberry mojito is made with Sprite instead of alcohol.

How to make a good mocktail?

Use fresh ingredients! I highly recommend using fresh mint leaves and fresh limes for this raspberry mocktail.

Can I use frozen raspberries for this raspberry mojito mocktail recipe?

Yes you can! Just be sure to thaw the raspberries before making the recipe. You can also use fresh raspberries.

Can I use ginger ale?

I would stick to a lemon-lime soda. Ginger ale has a very strong ginger flavor, which I don’t think would pair too well with the mint and lime.

Raspberry Mojito Mocktail

A raspberry mojito loaded with juicey raspberries, fresh mint, a hint of lime, and Sprite or 7-UP!

Prep Time: 5 minutes mins

Total Time: 5 minutes mins

Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen raspberries - thawed*
  • 8-10 mint leaves
  • 1 lime - juiced
  • 4 cups Sprite or 7-UP

Instructions

  • To a pitcher add the raspberries and mint leaves. Using a muddle or the back of a wooden spoon, muddle until the raspberries have released their juices and the mint leaves have wilted.

  • Add the lime juice.

  • Pour in the Sprite or 7-UP. Stir. Add ice if you'd like.

  • Pour in individual glasses to serve. Top with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge.

Notes

*You can use fresh raspberries, but rather than just using 2 cups, I would do closer to 3 cups of raspberries. Just depends on how big the raspberries are!
